One of the things that makes Farragut such and attractive place to live is that although it is a small town at heart, it has all of the amenities you might expect from a bigger city. We have an abundance of retail and dining options to choose from, indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities, great schools, and excellent support for businesses.
Farragut has a full-service hospital, the Tennova Turkey Creek Medical Center which offers state of the art surgical suites, a 24/7 emergency room, ICU and other service. We also have a number of general physicians and specialists who maintain offices in town.
We have 4 public schools in Farragut covering primary, intermediate, middle school and high school education. There are also several private schools to choose from as well. Several well respected universities and colleges are within easy traveling distance including the University of Tennessee, Lincoln Memorial University, and Knoxville College.
There are four distinctive parks in Farragut each with their own amenities. Each has restroom facilities and picnic pavilions. In addition, there are 25 areas of greenway trails totalling 16 miles that offer the opportunity to walk, run, cycle or rollerblade!
